Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of BagClx at bagclx.com. By using the service or paying for a report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What BagClx is

BagClx is a documentation aid. It takes the details and photos you provide about a damaged checked bag and produces a clean luggage damage documentation report you can submit to your airline.

BagClx is not an appraiser, an insurance adjuster, an insurer, or a law firm, and it does not provide professional appraisal, insurance, or legal services. The report is a documentation aid only, not an independent appraisal, inspection, or legal advice.

The fee and what it buys

The fee is $30.00, charged once per report and enforced at our server. Paying the fee entitles you to have one luggage damage documentation report generated from the information and photos you submitted, rendered as a PDF, emailed to you, and made available to download.

How your report is prepared and your responsibility for accuracy

Your report is prepared from a preset for your damage type, working only from the information and photos you supply, and is reviewed and approved by a BagClx reviewer before delivery. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit, including the damage description and the replacement amount you are claiming. Replacement values are claimant reported and are not independently verified or appraised by BagClx.

No guarantee of any outcome

BagClx does not guarantee that any airline will accept your claim, pay any amount, or reach any particular outcome. Airlines set their own claim processes, requirements, and deadlines. BagClx is not responsible for airline decisions, for missed airline deadlines, or for the correctness of the airline claim links provided for convenience.

Refunds

The fee covers generating and delivering your report. If report generation or delivery fails on our side and we cannot recover, your fee is automatically refunded and your submission is marked as failed.

Once a report has been delivered to you, the fee is non refundable, except where a refund is required by law. If you believe there is a problem with your report, contact [email protected] and we will work with you.

Money-back guarantee

BagClx offers a money-back guarantee on the $30.00 report fee. If the airline you identified rejects the damaged baggage claim you filed using your BagClx report, we will refund the $30.00 BagClx fee, subject to the conditions below.

The guarantee refunds the BagClx fee only. It does not guarantee that any airline will accept your claim or pay any amount, and it does not refund, replace, or substitute for the airline payout itself. Whether an airline pays a claim is solely the airline's decision.

To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, all of the following must be true:

  • Your report was delivered to you and your fee was not already refunded.
  • You actually filed a damaged baggage claim with the airline using your BagClx report.
  • The airline issued a written rejection of that claim.
  • You submit your report number, the email on your report, and the airline's written rejection within 60 days of your report date.

We review each guarantee claim and the rejection you provide. We may decline a guarantee claim where the information is incomplete, the rejection is unrelated to the documentation, the claim window has passed, or where we reasonably believe the submission is false or misleading. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. The guarantee applies once per report. This guarantee does not limit any refund right you may have under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use BagClx to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information or photos.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload.
  • Attempt to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the security of the service.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may decline service or void a report if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service and the report are provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. BagClx does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BagClx and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of a claim, payout, or expected recovery, arising from your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report at issue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. The current effective date is June 5, 2026.
